This is my block out for my third project in my Game Portfolio 3 class. I have a lot of work to get done on this one. I also have to fix a lot of things that I have already done.
I'm a 23 year old guy from Cleveland, Ohio. I currently reside in Winter Park, Florida where I attend school. My passion for art and games led me to the Game Art degree at Full Sail University, because I want to create content as high quality as the games that inspire me. As an aspiring Environmental Artist I'll be posting my work amongst other school and personal projects relating to Game Art. Comments, critiques and insults are welcome, thanks!

Leather Journal Block Out
My second block out for a project I will be finishing up in my Game Portfolio 2 class. I know that when I get to that class I will be working very hard on making a nice leather texture and be adding a map inside of the book.

Wooden Crate Block Out
My first basic block out that I will be finishing up next month in my Game Portfolio 1 class. I had to find different references for the back and inside of the wooden crate. The proportions of the asset are very close so come next month I will be focusing more on sculpting and texturing the crate. I want to make sure I get a sufficient amount of damage across the wood and iron. I am excited to get to work more on this.
Planning planning planning.
Starting in April I will be creating my final projects for school to put in my portfolio. Each month I will be focusing on one project. Below are the objects and scene I will be modeling and texturing. I will have a breakdown for each reference to help me model and texture these assets. I also will be posting through out the process of the project.

Brick Wall and Sidewalk
This is the beauty shot from my brick and sidewalk project. The asset is being viewed through Marmoset which I also used to create the lighting for the scene.
Brick and Sidewalk Texture
This is my diffuse, normal, height, and specular maps from a project of a brick wall and a sidewalk that I did in my Texture Painting and Sculpting class in which we learned how to create a texture that can be tiled. I throughly enjoyed this project and I really fell in love with creating textures.
This is my diffuse, normal, height, and specular map for the sidewalk for the same project. The part I enjoyed most was creating the look of a moss growing on the wall and sidewalk. It was interesting because I also gave the moss on the sidewalk to appear wet by making it certain parts of the specular map brighter than it regularly would be. Both textures were created by using Maya, Zbrush, and Photoshop.

Female Alien Bust
My final project from Advanced Game Characters. The first picture is my high resolution model. Followed by my low resolution model. Finally my UVs laid out. I am planning on finishing up some details and adding hair to the model. I made this bust with Maya, Zbrush, and Photoshop. I will post the final outcome when finished.
Game Prop Animations
These are animations from my Game Animation class. The scenes were provided to me in class and I animated them.
Futuristic Crate
This is my final from Texture Painting and Sculpting. The model of the crate was given to me in class. I laid out the UVs, created the Diffuse, Normal, Specular, and Emissive maps.
This project was very interesting because I tried something a bit different. My diffuse map was mostly gray while my spec map had the color in it. I think it makes an interesting look for the crate.

Dragon Tree
In my Production Modeling Class for my final I modeled a Dragon Tree. Sculpted in Zbrush and then rendered in Maya.
Ruins Scene
Screenshots of my final from my Art Creation for Games Class. All the models, textures, and maps created by me.
The programs I used to create this scene were Maya, Photoshop, and Zbrush. Screenshots taken from UDK. All assets created by me.
